Microfiber synthetic leather was developed by Japanese experts using composite spinning technology more than 40 years ago. The advanced superfine artificial leather tries to surpass the real leather in performance, and its price is even more expensive than the genuine leather.

In fact, the hygroscopic property of microfiber synthetic leather is the best among all synthetic leather. According to the data, the permeable steam of natural leather is about 800mg/ (250px2.24h), while the moisture permeability of superfine fiber cloth is about 400mg/ (250px2.24h). This is mainly due to the more hydrophilic groups of collagen fibers in natural leather than those in microfiber.

The production process of microfiber synthetic leather has no solid waste. Compared with the processing of natural leather, the amount of water consumption in the whole finishing process is very little, and the dosage of chemical material is very little. The main component of superfine fiber is polyamide fiber.

According to the data, the composition and structure of polyamide fiber are simpler than that of protein fiber. Carboxyl and amino groups only exist at the end of molecular chain.

Therefore, for the structure and production process of polyamide fiber, acid hydrolysis and enzymatic hydrolysis technology should be used first, chemical modification of superfine fibers should be carried out, and then the amide bonds should be opened to increase their active groups. Then, the retanning, filling, fatliquoring and dyeing techniques of natural leather were used to fill the superfine fibers, and improve the permeability and other physical properties of the superfine fibers.

As a new synthetic leather processing method, it is feasible to introduce leather wet processing and finishing technology into the production of microfiber synthetic leather.

But with the improvement of microfiber processing technology level, it is necessary to fundamentally improve the manufacturing process of microfiber cloth, so that the physical properties and touch of the superfine fiber base cloth and the natural leather leathers will be similar.

It is especially important to note that the development of microfiber synthetic leather must be combined with leather making, dyeing and finishing, shoemaking and furniture processing to form the top and bottom line and improve the overall development capability. Only in this way can we improve the vitality of microfiber synthetic leather.

Superfine fiber has the following four different production processes, blending fiber (indefinite island fiber): the advantage is that it is easy to produce very fine fibers. The disadvantage is that it is necessary to dissolve the fibers with solvent. The dissolved sea part PS will lose, and the proportion of "sea" is high, and the proportion of PU used in leather making is also high.

Island fiber: the advantage is that the fiber density is uniform, but if it is PET/PS component, it also needs solvent treatment; if it is PA/CoPET component, then part of the sea CoPET will also be wasted.

Direct spinning: no pollution, no loss, PET can be recycled.

Polyester / nylon composite: artificial leather contains two ingredients, no pollution, but it is difficult to split two ingredients intact.

Because of the reason of color fastness, it is not suitable for suede. Because of PA, it is not suitable for industrial application.

According to the quality of artificial leather, the products can be classified as high-grade suede: the Japanese factory has monopolized the market, and is a high-end product for clothing, household and automobile industries. Artificial suede is mainly produced by South Korea and Taiwan, China. It is made of nylon and sea island fiber and used in shoes and bags. Artificial smooth leather is produced with superfine nylon island fiber and applied to shoes and bags. Ordinary smooth leather is produced by ordinary polyester or nylon, mainly used in shoes and bags; woven suede: it is not artificial leather, and the price is low.
