New National Standard For Children'S Wear

It is reported that 3 national standards for children's clothing, which focus on the safety performance of small clothing parts, were released for the first time recently.

3 new national standards, including safety requirements for ropes and belts for children's wear, safety specifications for children's tops and safety standards for children's clothing design and production implementation, will be implemented in August 1st.

Among them, the safety specification for children's tops and belts stipulates the safety specifications of children's clothing belts under 14 years of age. According to children's clothing parts, they are divided into wind caps, neck, waist and hem, and other parts. Then, according to children's age, children are divided into children, children and youth.

The safety requirements for ropes and belts of children's wear stipulate safety requirements for ropes and straps for children under 14 years of age, but do not include specifications for ropes and straps.

According to the location of children's clothing, the standard is divided into wind caps and neck, waist, clothing hem, sleeves and so on. The children's wear rope and belt are clearly specified.

The code for the design and production of children's clothing designed to improve mechanical safety stipulates the specifications for the materials, design and production of children's clothing under the age of 14.

The standard deals with the first information exchange, the purchase of materials and components, the details of the attention of the clothing design, the production steps to the material, the inspection and test of the clothing, and the attention to the safety of the children's clothing machinery.

At present, China's children's clothing product standards include children's clothing, student clothes, infant clothing and woven student clothes. The basic standards include children's clothing size, and the method standard includes the parts and methods of body measurement for infant clothing.

Different from the standard system of adult clothing, children's physical characteristics need to be fully considered in the construction of children's wear standard system.

In the past, children's clothing standards were mainly product standards and basic standards. The product standards mainly stipulated the physical and chemical properties and appearance quality of children's clothing, and the basic standards mainly included clothing size and human body measurement methods.

The latest safety standards for children's wear series, for the first time, focus on the appearance and mechanical damage of children's clothing products for the first time, in order to avoid children's dangerous accidents as the main principles and basis, stipulate the safety specifications for children's tops, the safety requirements for using ropes and belts on children's clothing, and the implementation specifications of children's clothing materials, design and production.
