Clothing industry is a leading strategic industry to create a better and fashionable life, a basic consumer goods industry for social and economic development, and an innovative and creative industry that embodies the attributes of science and technology, fashion and green in the new era. It plays an important role in promoting economic and social development, improving people's living standards, and enhancing the confidence of Chinese culture.

In order to analyze the current situation of technological innovation in China's garment industry and look forward to the development trend of scientific and technological innovation in China's garment industry, the "2020 white paper on technological innovation of garment industry in 2020" was co edited by Hangzhou Zhongfu science and Technology Innovation Research Institute Co., Ltd., and edited by China Garment Association and China intelligent manufacturing technology innovation strategic alliance.
