According to the announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on carrying out the elimination of duties on commodities in the United States and Canada (the announcement of the Tax Commission No. [2019]2), approved by the State Council, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council promulgated the first batch of first exclusion lists for the US and Canada tariff goods, and the first batch of tariff products for the US and Canada, the first time to exclude some commodities, has been implemented since September 17, 2019.

Among them, the commodities listed in the list, from September 17, 2019 to September 16, 2020, no longer impose any tariffs imposed on the 301 measures against the United States. The relevant import enterprises shall apply to the Customs within 6 months from the date of promulgation of the list.

The commodities listed in listing two, from September 17, 2019 to September 16, 2020, no longer impose any tariffs imposed on the 301 measures against the United States. The added duties are not refundable.

Next, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council will continue to work on the elimination of tariffs and commodities in the US and Canada, and timely publish the list of subsequent batches.
