< p > < strong > American CPSC releases the lead limit for children's products. < /strong > < /p >


< p > recently, the United States CPSC issued the final rule on the procedures and requirements for the exemption of lead limits for children's products in the federal Bulletin (FR) (16CFR 1500).

The final rules will come into force in July this year.

< p > in CPSIA 101st, the total lead content in products designed for children under 12 years old and below shall not exceed 100 ppm.

The procedures and requirements for exemption are stipulated in CFR 1500.90, which is the final rule of this release.

It is stipulated that: CPSC will take into account the following circumstances: functional exemption for lead requirements in section 101st (a) of CPSIA, including: (a) the lead in products, materials or components is not likely to remove excess lead or make it untouches because of its technology or process in manufacturing process; (b) considering that normal or foreseeable use, products, materials or components are unlikely to be placed in the mouth or swallowed by children; (c) considering the normal or foreseeable use, products, materials or components do not have measurable adverse effects on public health or safety.

In addition, the relevant regulations on Exemption authorization procedures are also provided.
