Dr. Frog, Asia's Largest Shopping Main Shop Opens In Shanghai
While expanding the brand of children's clothing, doctoral frog is extending to the field of children's consumer goods in an all-round way. In May 15th, Dr. frog's largest one-stop shopping main store in Asia opened in Nanjing Road, Shanghai.
The main store covers an area of 2000-3000 square meters. Unlike previous sales platforms, the store has integrated all its own brands, licensed brands and its agents or distribution products to provide products for 0-14 year olds.
Domestic sales channels for children's consumer goods are now generally set up counters in department stores, few flagship stores, and fewer large professional sales platforms. "The main store is to integrate the consumer goods that children need to avoid scattered, chaotic and small situations." Zhong Zheng, chairman of the doctor frog group, told reporters in an interview with the morning post that the opening of the main store was different from the previous single brand sales, and integrated all the brands of the frog, covering all kinds of consumer goods from clothing to daily necessities, food, toys and other kinds of baby.
In the case of Zhong Zheng, children's consumer goods can be extended to more fields except clothing, daily necessities, food and toys. "Apart from having its own brand, authorized brand, agent and distribution products, as well as books and audio-visual products, I think this extension is successful." Zhong Zheng Yi disclosed that at present, Xinhua media has begun to talk about cooperation, and books and audio-visual products will be part of the main store. At the same time, Zhong Zheng said that the main store in the future is also planning to extend to more fields such as children's games, education and so on.
Founded in 1997, the PhD group has successfully licensed the authorized brand of Prince Tennis, Harry, Potter and NBA in addition to its own brands such as "doctor frog, Baby2 and Dr. Frog". Zhong Zheng Yi disclosed that the group will also integrate more front-line sports and animation cartoon brands around the world.
Zhong Zheng Yong said that Dr. frog now focuses on the higher profit links in the chain of children's consumer goods, including product design and development, brand marketing management, sales channel development and operation, and sales promotion, etc., and outsourced all production to independent third party manufacturers in China and Japan, thereby avoiding direct operation and financial risk expenses arising from production, operation and management of labor.
In addition to the field of clothing, Dr. frog has extended the agency or distribution of many famous Japanese brands such as bef, tweet, Meiji milk powder and so on.
It is understood that the one-stop shopping mall of doctor frog is planned to be launched in the main commercial areas of more cities in the country. At present, PhD is among the best in China's high-end children's clothing market, and is likely to be listed in Hongkong, China.
