Export Protest Of Clothing And Textiles

Textile and garment producers in Turkey are fed up with low exchange rates and high input costs and are preparing for a one day moratorium on exports to warn the Turkish government.

The Istanbul textile and raw materials exporters association and the Istanbul clothing exporters association, the textile and clothing forum were assembled in August 14th, and all the Turkey textile and garment export consortia were involved.

Due to recent complaints about rising energy prices, high input costs and low exchange rates, the Turkey textile and garment industry appealed to its government to take urgent consultations.

Turkey exporters have proposed a series of actions to warn their governments, such as suspending the export of a day, and leaving the factory's keys to the government.

After assessing the situation, the representatives of Turkey's textile and garment industry decided on the subsequent actions.

The president of the garment exporters association of Istanbul said that the government of Turkey should listen to the aspirations of the textile and garment industry, and should take Turkey exporters into account in the plan of action. The current economic plan is wrong.

The plan was implemented in 2001 and ended in 2006.

If we can control the deficit and ensure the growth of our existing economic policies, the exchange rate will reach a reasonable level.
