At the Harbin Asian Winter Games, the ceremonial staff wearing the "Ruixue Baojie" theme award clothes were particularly eye-catching. Yesterday (10th) day, Yang Hui, the leader of the design team and associate professor of sportswear design at Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, revealed that the design and production of more than 100 sets of high standard ceremonial clothes only took more than one month. Each set of clothing should have both style and temperature.

In order to complete these high standard gowns, Yang Hui led the graduate team and the staff of the clothing enterprise, through dozens of times of fabric and process matching effect tests, and finally finalized the design scheme. "Because of the particularity of this work environment, the award dress must not only convey visual beauty, but also keep warm," Yang Hui said.

For example, the snowflakes on the shoulders and sleeves look crystal clear. They are sewn with silk threads that are lighter than the Chinese red background. Together with the stand collar and horseshoe sleeves, they fully show the new Chinese charm. The large snowflakes at the skirt hem use a gradual design, combined with the wavy structure of the skirt hem, the snowflakes are looming in the light and shadow, flexible and romantic.

All dresses are made of worsted silk and wool, with single-layer thin cotton inside, giving full play to the material advantages of soft and breathable silk and warm and wear-resistant wool. The design team also accurately measured human body data for 100 award ceremony personnel, and conducted data induction and analysis, with the purpose of making up and modifying the posture of each wearer by adjusting the local size. The collar, waist seam, cuffs and other details are also equipped with "double safety" reinforcement devices to ensure that the wearer can show a perfect posture in all directions.

In addition, the Beifu design team is also responsible for the design of the full range of sportswear for the eight groups of this Asian Winter Games, covering all participants' clothing except the members of the participating sports delegations, including the clothing and accessories of volunteers, torchbearers, technical officials, staff, security personnel and other groups.
