   Visits:
Open the door of creativity interwoven with tradition and modernity
Batik, tie dyeing, Dong cloth, horsetail embroidery, sticky paste dyeing... In Guizhou, intangible cultural heritage rich in profound cultural accumulation is facing inheritance problems. Local traditional craftsmen are actively looking for new ways out. The inheritance of intangible cultural heritage handicrafts and their integration with modern fashion in the "Weaving Love Action" intangible cultural heritage public service visit provide new ideas and platforms.
During the visit, the guests walked into Danzhai County, Qiandongnan, Guizhou Province, and experienced the charm of batik, one of the four printing techniques in ancient China. The staff of the local Dream Workshop introduced the principle and charm of batik to the guests. Use a wax knife to dip the melted wax to draw flowers on the cloth and then dip it in indigo. During the dip dyeing, the wax of the anti dye naturally cracks, making the cloth surface show a special "ice pattern", which is particularly attractive. The penetration and blending of blue and white in blue and white porcelain seems to be telling the story of new era aesthetics and ancient inheritance in its own language. The talented mother - batik dream workshop has driven nearly 400 families in distress. Their wish is to exhibit and pass on Miao culture and clothing.
After understanding the whole process, everyone picked up a paintbrush and carved flower patterns one by one.
Tie dyeing, a national intangible cultural heritage, was called tie dyeing and tie dyeing in ancient times. It was one of the three printing dyeing technologies in ancient China. Tie dyeing process is divided into two parts: tying and dyeing. The fabric is dyed by tying, sewing, clamping and other forms of combination through yarn, thread, rope and other tools. Tie dyeing is rich in tint, natural in change, endless in interest, and different from each other. It is the unique romance of manual printing and dyeing.
The fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage - Dong cloth is an important part of the clothing culture of the Dong nationality, and also the best gift for the guests of the Dong nationality. The raw materials and dyes of Dong cloth weaving are all from nature. One spinning, two weaving, three dyeing, four steaming and hammering, and the complicated processes condense the essence of the Dong women's hard work, and create a sustainable new development of green fashion cloth arts.
Another intangible cultural heritage craft of this visit is horsetail embroidery, which is called the "living fossil" of ancient and mysterious embroidery. Horsetail embroidery is a unique folk traditional craft of the Shui nationality, which has been handed down for thousands of years and has been included in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
Sandu Shui Autonomous County, Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province is the inheritance place of horsetail embroidery. The staff of Dream Workshop in this place said that horsetail embroidery takes horsetail as the raw material of embroidery, and after imaginative processing of natural things and folk customs, it is quite rich in national charm and artistic effect. The horsetail embroidery process is very complex, and the embroidery has a sense of shallow relief, abstract, generalized, exaggerated shape, and does not lose its simplicity Elegant. Horsetail embroidery often uses knot embroidery, flat stitch, random stitch and other embroidery techniques to complement and highlight the characteristics of horsetail embroidery.
During the visit, the guests also visited the local paste dyeing workshop. The paste dyeing process of the Yao nationality is a magical and unique traditional skill, and its process is complex and delicate. In the early stage of sticky paste dyeing, there are processes such as boiling yarn, running yarn, weaving, sticky paste, and making indigo. In the middle stage, there are processes such as cotton calendering, melting hot sticky paste, drawing patterns, preparing indigo, dipping indigo, removing paste cleaning, dipping indigo. In the later stage, there are processes such as sizing and embroidery patterns. At present, handicrafts made of sticky paste dyeing have become popular tourist commodities in the region. It is reported that the Yao tree painting technique has been included in the fifth batch of representative projects of provincial intangible cultural heritage in Guizhou Province.
After three days of investigation and exchange, the visiting guests were deeply inspired. They proposed a variety of modes of cooperation between intangible cultural heritage and enterprises from the perspective of enterprises. They emphasized that the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage needs to be empowered from the product design level, and the strength of design innovation and the application of traditional patterns should be strengthened, so as to make traditional handicrafts glow with new vitality.
