On September 3, the Jinan Textile and Garment Industry Chain Supply and Demand Matchmaking Meeting, hosted by Jinan Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and undertaken by the Municipal Textile and Garment Industry Association and Lixia District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, was successfully held. The purpose of the matchmaking meeting is to build a platform for the upstream and downstream enterprises of the textile and clothing industry chain to develop the new quality productivity of the industry, guide the connection between supply and demand of enterprises, and serve the business exchange of enterprises, accelerate the digital transformation of the textile and clothing industry in the city, and achieve high-quality development. In recent years, the development quality and efficiency of Jinan's textile and clothing industry have been steadily improved, and its comprehensive strength has been constantly enhanced. From January to July this year, the number of industrial enterprises above designated size in the city's textile and clothing industry increased by 5.9% year-on-year, and the main business income increased by 11.6% year-on-year, playing an important role in stabilizing growth, promoting employment, and ensuring people's livelihood. The Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology actively promotes the connection between production and marketing and the connection between supply and demand. While actively holding offline supply and demand connection activities, it also improves the function of "Jinan Industrial Product Supply and Demand Connection Platform" to promote the online supply and demand connection of enterprises. Up to now, the platform has registered 1799 enterprises, released 7924 kinds of industrial products, and viewed more than one million industrial products; The 2024 Jinan Competitive Industrial Products Catalogue was selected and released, focusing on the promotion of 52 products of 22 textile and clothing industrial enterprises. It is hoped that enterprises in the textile and clothing industry will have the courage to emancipate their minds, become bigger and stronger, be good at intelligent upgrading, develop new quality productivity, dare to enlarge the pattern, actively explore the market, and promote the textile and clothing industry to increase varieties, improve quality and create brands. Zhang Xingli stressed that it is necessary to constantly improve the level of green low-carbon circular development of the textile and clothing industry, and actively create green factories and green parks. The Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology will regularly organize and carry out a series of activities such as coordination, supply and demand docking, production and marketing convergence, to keep the supply chain of the industrial chain smooth and promote the high-quality development of the textile and clothing industry in the city.

At the activity site, four enterprises, Qilu Hongye Textile Group, Hongtian Investment Group, Yongxin Nonwovens Group and Shandong Zhongxian Technology Co., Ltd., carried out roadshows around the development of new quality productivity. Alibaba (Shandong) Co., Ltd. and other three enterprises introduced forward-looking solutions around the digital transformation of the textile and clothing industry. At the meeting, the Head of State Textile signed strategic cooperation agreements with 8 enterprises, including Shandong Zhongxian Technology, Haopeng Clothing and Huanxi (Shandong) Network, Daluke Weaving and Dyeing and Yushan Fashion Clothing, Shandong Lvke Zhongbo and Hongtian Investment Group, with an amount of 190 million yuan. Many enterprises expressed their intention to further deepen cooperation.
