On September 26, the Forum on high quality development of bio based chemical fiber and raw material industry chain was held in Bengbu, a famous historical and cultural city. In recent years, China's bio based chemical fiber has shown a strong development momentum, with breakthroughs in key technologies and rapid growth in industrial scale. The industrial system of bio based cellulose fiber, bio based synthetic fiber, marine bio based fiber and bio protein composite fiber has initially formed. Chen Xinwei, President of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, said that under the guidance of the national new development concept and "double carbon" goal, green development has become a new bright spot in China's economic development. As a landmark product of green development of textile and chemical fiber industry, bio based chemical fiber is an important part of China's emerging strategic material field, and also an important support for the construction of chemical fiber power.
Chen Xinwei also pointed out the problems existing in the development of the industry, such as the gap between the key monomers, raw materials and solvents, and the imperfect supply system; From R & D, technology, engineering to industrialization, it is in the early stage of research and development. Compared with foreign countries, there is still a big gap in core technology and key equipment, and the level of industrial technology is low; Most of the products are weak in production capacity, low in production capacity and low in cost.
Chen Xinwei called on bio based enterprises to cooperate with upstream and downstream industrial chains to jointly overcome the technical bottlenecks in the development of bio based chemical fibers, solve the "neck sticking" problem, grasp the development trend of new technologies, new industries, new formats and new models, aim at the leading edge and top level of biotechnology in the world, gather and break through the core key technologies of the industry and promote the construction of key industrial projects, Improve product standards, realize large-scale and low-cost production, and further promote the large-scale application of bio based chemical fiber in textile and garment, industrial use and other fields.

Pan Junqi, vice mayor of Bengbu City, said in his speech that Fengyuan Group has been deeply engaged in the fields of biomaterials for a long time, mastered a number of world leading technologies and processes, committed itself to the development of bio based new material industry, and has opened up the whole industrial chain product system of Bio based upstream and downstream. He said that relying on Fengyuan Group, Bengbu City has successfully built the first and only national demonstration base of new industrialization industry with bio based materials as its characteristics, initially built a bio based new material industrial system, and owned the first large-scale whole industry chain polylactic acid production line with the largest domestic project volume in China. He stressed that, together with the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, he will fully support the development of bio based new materials industry, so that enterprises can safely invest and start their own businesses.

According to Li Rongjie, chairman of Fengyuan Group, Bengbu has a long and splendid textile culture, which is an area where China's textile industry has developed earlier. In recent years, with its own advantages in biotechnology, Fengyuan Group has vigorously developed biodegradable biomaterials such as polylactic acid, and has mastered the core technology of producing PLA from straw. Li Rongjie said that Fengyuan Group focuses on the research and development and production of polylactic acid raw materials, and will continue to maintain close communication, communication and docking with downstream fiber, spinning, weaving, clothing, home textile and other enterprises, so as to expand and strengthen the industrial chain of polylactic acid fiber.

As for the development direction and goal of the industry, he said, "guidance on the high quality development of chemical fiber industry" proposed that by 2025, the output of bio based chemical fiber and degradable fiber materials will increase by more than 20%, forming a group of leading enterprises with strong competitiveness, building a high-end, intelligent and green modern industrial system, and building a chemical fiber power in an all-round way.

The development of high quality and other based polyester products and large-scale development of polyamide based products and large-scale petrochemical enterprises are suggested. The technical route and industrial development strategy of China's bio based fiber industry will provide ideas for realizing the "dual carbon" vision of China's chemical fiber industry and promoting the green transformation and upgrading of domestic chemical fiber industry.

Fan Yaqing, general manager of Anhui Fengyuan bio Fiber Co., Ltd., emphatically introduced that the raw material of polylactic acid fiber is renewable, has biological safety and compatibility, and its products are skin friendly, antibacterial and comfortable, and can be biodegradable after being discarded. He particularly mentioned that Fengyuan Group had realized the non grain technology route of producing PLA materials with straw as raw material, adopting special domesticated strains, biological fermentation technology, extraction and purification technology, synthetic polymerization technology, rectification technology, etc.

Wang Bin, associate professor of the school of materials science and engineering, Beijing Institute of fashion, said that in order to improve the added value of polylactic acid fiber, the technical team of Beijing Institute of fashion has studied the heat-resistant vertical structure composite fiber, three-dimensional crimp fiber, antibacterial and UV resistant fiber, waterproof and moisture permeable fiber film, and PLA melt blown cloth with high efficiency and low resistance and antibacterial and protective properties, On this basis, different styles of PLA fabrics and their textiles were developed.
