It is reported that from 2014 to 2020, the number of textile and garment enterprises in Xinjiang has increased from 560 to 3328, with 2768 newly added, including 1034 investment enterprises from the mainland. Among them, there are many large textile leading enterprises such as Huafu, Ruyi and Tianhong, which have formed a relatively complete industrial chain of cotton planting and processing, textile, chemical fiber, dyeing and finishing, clothing and industrial use. The textile industry in Xinjiang is stepping onto the stage of history, and its sense of existence is growing day by day in the whole Xinjiang and even the whole country.

What is more noteworthy is that, under the "belt and road" initiative, Xinjiang has accelerated the construction of a new pattern of opening up in an all-round way, normalized the operation of China EU trains, and expanded the "circle of friends" of Eurasian cooperation, which provided favorable conditions for the textile and garment industry to further expand its market.

During the inspection in Urumqi international dry port area, the general secretary observed the on-site operation of each functional area of China Europe train (Urumqi) assembly center, Alashankou port and Horgos port through real-time pictures.
