According to Vietnam's customs online on September 19, Vietnam's General Administration of Customs announced that Vietnam's imports of textiles, clothing and footwear (cotton, cloth, yarn and textile clothing and footwear raw and auxiliary materials) reached 1.89 billion US dollars in August. In the first eight months, the import volume of this product reached US $17.7 billion, up 29.4% year on year, equivalent to a net increase of US $4 billion. This product is mainly produced in China, with an import volume of 9.2 billion US dollars from China, a year-on-year increase of 35%, accounting for 52%. The rest were South Korea (US $1.7 billion, up 15%), Taiwan of China (US $1.7 billion, up 32%), the United States (US $1.3 billion, down 5.1%), etc.

By the end of August, Vietnam's imports from China had reached US $72.04 billion, up 46.1% year-on-year, accounting for 33.3% of the total imports.
