Professor Wuhan Won The Highest Award Of Chinese Fashion Designer Again

Liu Yongrong, associate professor of the school of fashion, Wuhan Textile University, won the 24th China fashion designer's Golden Summit Award at the closing ceremony of China International Fashion Week and the award ceremony of China Fashion Awards.

It is understood that the "Golden Summit Award" was founded by China Fashion Design Association and China Fashion Designers Association in 1997. It is the highest award to evaluate the design strength, popularity and influence of Chinese fashion designers. Liu Yong won two awards in 2016 and 2020 respectively. In the history of 24 Golden Summit awards, only three designers won twice.

Liu Yong was named "China's top ten fashion designers" twice in 2004 and 2006; he was awarded the "Asahi chemical" Creative Award of Chinese designers in 2008; he was nominated as the best female designer of China International Fashion Week in 2010; he became one of the core fashion designers officially recognized by APEC conference in 2014; he was awarded the "best men's fashion designer" of China Fashion Award in 2014 and 2015; In 2015, he was nominated for the "Golden Summit Award"; in 2016, he was awarded the 20th China Fashion Design "Golden Summit Award"; in 2016, he was awarded the "2016 textile and clothing industry innovation figure"; in 2017, he was awarded the "top ten textile and clothing figures of the year"; he twice landed in New York International Fashion Week with his works from 2018 to 2019, attracting attention from both inside and outside the industry.

In addition, Zhang Mengyun of Wuhan Textile University won the "cutting edge Designer Award" and Huang Xiangpeng won the title of "top 10 professional fashion male models".
