Indonesia Is Expected To Sign RCEP This Year To Support Economic Recovery.

Jakarta Post reported recently that Indonesia and 14 other negotiators agreed to sign a regional comprehensive economic partnership (RCEP) this year to help their economy recover from the recession triggered by the outbreak. The Indonesian trade ministry said it expected the agreement to be signed in November. So far, countries have reached agreement on the copyrights of the agreement and have completed the legal review of the document. If signed, the trade agreement will create one of the largest economic groups in the world, with 15 participating countries accounting for 30% of global GDP.
