Aiming at the research project of "reusable medical protective clothing" in Beijing, the country's first reusable medical protective clothing has been approved for sale in Beijing. It can be reused for about 10 times after washing and disinfection.

It can produce 5000 pieces per month and will soon be put into the epidemic prevention line.

In the morning (April 22nd) morning, in the Ma Fang Industrial Park, Pinggu District, Beijing, a number of reusable medical protective clothing is being produced from the production line. These protective clothing, developed by an enterprise in Beijing, has recently been the two class of medical device registration certificate issued by the Beijing Municipal Drug Administration. It has become the first approved product in the country, and will soon be put into the epidemic prevention line.

At present, the production capacity of the reusable medical protective clothing can reach 5000 pieces per month. Compared with the use of a few hours, the disposable protective clothing needs to be discarded. The protective clothing can be reused, and it can bear about 10 times of medical washing and disinfection, and the comprehensive cost has been saved by 1/3.

It is understood that, after the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia, the Beijing Municipal Drug Administration and the science and Technology Commission set up a project team to redouble the use of medical protective clothing scientific research project, and launched the emergency prevention and control emergency science and technology special tackling key problem. It lasted 68 days, around the major demand for the fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic, and widely mobilized the strength of Beijing universities, research institutes, medical institutions and science and technology enterprises. Close cooperation, speed up tackling key problems, organize several expert argumentation, compile the 8 edition of clinical trial plan, and complete nearly 60 kinds of data verification. In April 17th, the Beijing reusable medical protective clothing produced by Bang Wei was awarded the two class of medical device registration certificate issued by the Beijing Municipal Drug Administration and became the first similar product approved in the country.

In order to enable reusable protective clothing to be put into operation as soon as possible, after the project was approved, the Beijing Municipal Drug Administration in accordance with the principle of "unified command, early intervention, follow up and scientific examination and approval", completed the registration inspection, on-site inspection and technical review at the first time without lowering the standard or reducing the procedure. At present, the product has completed all registration procedures in accordance with national regulations.

The key detection indexes are better than disposable protective clothing.

Wang Fuyi, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Drug Administration, said that after testing, the key performance test results of the approved reusable medical protective clothing, such as breaking strength, filtration efficiency, synthetic blood penetration and water penetration resistance, were all higher than the national standard of medical disposable protective clothing.

Reporters learned from manufacturers that these two kinds of protective clothing are different in material composition, production process and clothing structure, which can meet the requirements of repeated use. In terms of material composition, the single layer non-woven fabric covering material of traditional disposable medical protective clothing has been changed. It is composed of three layers of composite materials independently developed by the enterprise to meet the requirements of washing resistance, strong physical and mechanical strength, and strong anti breaking ability. Among them, breaking strength and water penetration resistance meet the requirements of medical disposable protective clothing standards more than 10 times.

The production process of the new reusable protective clothing is also very different from the traditional disposable protective clothing. Reporters in the production workshop to see, a stack of raw materials after layers of processing, has become a reusable protective clothing. The head of the enterprise told reporters that the new reusable protective clothing changed the one-off adhesive paste process of the traditional disposable medical protective clothing, and the nylon fastener sealing technology at the front door can ensure that the sealing effect can be achieved after repeated use and cleaning.

In the workshop, the reporter saw that the reusable protective clothing changed the structure of the traditional disposable medical protective clothing, and adopted the inner layering, the air tight zipper, the double cuff and the double trouser mouth design, which improved the overall protective tightness of the product. In the clothes, the number of special washing times is added to track the usage of the products. According to the current test situation, each protective clothing can withstand about 10 times of medical washing and disinfection.
