In November 8, 2019, the French underwear brand Lise Charmel was attacked by hackers. All the documents, staff and business information of the brand were stolen by hackers. In the long process of negotiation, Lise Charmel was unwilling to pay high ransom to hackers (the specific price has not yet been disclosed). In February 27th, Olivier Piquet, chief executive of Lise Charmel, announced the launch of a brand name judicial reorganization process. During this period, the liabilities of the brand will be frozen, and the production line, logistics department, design department and stores will be closed, so that the brand can get a breathing space.

In an interview with Agence France-Presse, Olivier Piquet said that according to police investigation, the hacker attack may come from outside France, and hackers may be invaded by sending private e-mail to employees. "All our production lines and stores have adopted the way of information operation. At the same time, we have also backed up some important documents in many places, so hackers have stolen all our data. The hacker attack led us to Miss Christmas and Valentine's Day promotion, Olivier said. At the same time, Olivier also said that the time of judicial reorganization will be used to re regulate the internal information security system of the company.

The hacker act has a huge impact on Lise Charmel, coupled with the "yellow vest campaign" and the current epidemic situation in France. Olivier Piquet analysis, the French underwear market will be affected. Many small and medium enterprises will apply for short term loans to banks to alleviate the shortage of liquidity.

  Na a Paris

Recently, Charline Goutal-Redrado, founder of the French Internet environment-friendly underwear brand Na, a Paris, founded 7 years ago. It said that because of poor performance of its brand, it had contacted lawyers to start the judicial reorganization process and submitted bankruptcy application to the Commercial Court of Paris on 13 February.
