In recent years, Keqiao has always pursued "green high-end and world leading" as a continuous pursuit. It has continuously promoted the upgrading of printing and dyeing industry, and has spread many printing and dyeing enterprises throughout the region by gathering, shutting down, merging and integrating. Keqiao printing and dyeing is characterized by intelligence and green, and the technology has sprung up in the form of platform, agglomeration and integration. In the past 3 years, printing and dyeing enterprises in Keqiao have eliminated thousands of backward equipment, reducing the waste water discharge by about 1/3, and moving towards the goal of "green high-end, world leading".


"The key to achieving green printing and dyeing is to reduce energy consumption and waste water. There is no end to this goal." Yin Yunjie, an associate professor of textile and garment industry in Jiangnan University, who has been working hard for many years in the field of green textile, introduced the polyester disperse dyes which he could free of 11 washing processes in dyeing process, basically reduced the waste water to zero, and saved the overall cost by 10%~20%. At present, the dye has been applied to more than 30 printing and dyeing enterprises nationwide, with a cumulative output value of about 80000000 yuan.


He also said that the direction of green development of printing and dyeing industry in the future will be the green upgrading of the whole industrial chain. On the one hand, through the intelligent transformation of equipment, the consumption of water, electricity and gas should be precisely controlled to maximize the utilization of energy. On the other hand, it is necessary to work hard on dyes and auxiliaries, such as developing anhydrous printing and dyeing process, reducing water consumption from the source, or developing degradable ecological assistant, so as to reduce the COD concentration in the wastewater.
