In October 9th, the 2019 China Cotton Textile Conference and the fifth five member enlargement meeting were held in Wuhan, Hubei. Zhao Mingxia, vice president of the Institute of industrial economics of the China Federation of textile industry, and representatives of the conference shared the impact of Sino US trade friction on the textile industry and the measures to deal with it. It combed the development process and progress of Sino US trade friction, analyzed the impact on the import and export of China's textile industry and its impact on the development of the entire textile industry, and made a forward-looking discussion on the development trend of Sino US trade friction and how to deal with the textile industry. At present, the low speed development of the industry has been going on for some time. It is not caused by Sino US trade friction. Sino US relations only play a role in promoting transformation. Enterprises need to find new labels and new directions in the adversity, develop the innovation driven technology industry, culture led fashion industry and responsibility oriented green industry. She suggests that enterprises pay more attention to macroeconomic changes, strengthen the long-term and long-term development layout, and focus on the characteristics of the terminal market.


Zhang Zixin, Secretary General of the green development alliance of regenerated cellulose fiber, shared the opportunity of the cotton spinning industry in the sustainable development of the textile industry chain, analyzed the reasons for sustainable development to become a hot topic nowadays, and the business opportunities in sustainable development, and introduced the basic situation of the Green Development Alliance of regenerated cellulose industry. The alliance plans to set up an industry information release platform, a green industrial chain sharing platform, a sustainable development management platform, and an energy saving and emission reduction technology promotion platform within three years.

During the same period, the fifth five enlarged meeting of the Chinese cotton textile industry association was held. Li Jie, Secretary General of the China Cotton Textile Industry Association, made a report on the work of the Council from 7 aspects. At the meeting, four amendments were also announced, including the amendments to the membership supplement, and the motion on the merger of the new technology of spinning the Specialized Committee and the application of the spinning equipment to Specialized Committee, and announced the five annual Council financial report of the Fifth China Cotton Textile Industry Association.
