In the implementation of the "225 foreign trade double trillion action plan" released on the same day, it is mentioned that by 2025, Ningbo's imports and exports will reach 1 trillion yuan respectively, including the export of electromechanical and high-tech products, the import of energy and bulk commodities to 500 billion yuan respectively, and cross-border electricity suppliers, digital trade, service trade, import of quality goods and re export trade reached 200 billion yuan respectively.

"This is an important path for Ningbo to achieve high quality development, and also a major mission for Ningbo to serve the country in a new round of opening up to the outside world." Zheng Zhajie pointed out that Ningbo was established in Hong Kong and prospered by Hong Kong. In recent years, the basic conditions for developing foreign trade in Ningbo are getting better and better. For example, the annual cargo throughput of Ningbo Zhoushan port achieves the "ten consecutive champions" of the global ports, and the annual container throughput ranks among the top three ports of the global port. Last year, the total import and export volume of goods and services reached 857 billion 600 million yuan and 83 billion yuan respectively, of which exports accounted for 3.38% and 3.14% of the total share of the country, and the manufacturing industry was more than 2 trillion yuan in size, with 28 Chinese national manufacturing champion enterprises (products).
