Consumer Products Industry "Three Products" Strategic Demonstration City Declared To Start

In order to better carry out the "three products" special action in the consumer goods industry and create a favorable market environment, the Ministry of industry and Commerce recently organized the declaration of the "three products" strategic demonstration city of the consumer goods industry.

According to the requirements, the demonstration cities should have strong industry strength, increase variety, improve quality, create brand and superior environmental capacity. In terms of industry strength, it is necessary to declare a demonstration city with a better foundation for consumer goods industry, prominent regional characteristics and leading industries, and strong implementation of the "three products" strategy. Among them, the main business income of the consumer goods industry (including light industry, textile, food, medicine and consumer electronics) accounted for more than 35% of the total industry in 2018. The growth rate of added value, the total income of main business and the total profit were the forefront of the same cities.

In terms of increasing variety, the creative design level of consumer goods industry is high, and the ability to increase the supply of medium and high end consumer goods is stronger. Among them, the number of manufacturing individual champion enterprises, provincial and above enterprise technology centers, industrial design centers and personalized customization enterprises ranks among the leading cities in the same category.

In terms of brand creation, the value of the key enterprises in the consumer goods industry has been continuously promoted, and the development capacity of the large and medium sized enterprises with the core of brand enterprises has been enhanced, and the regional brand service system is relatively perfect. Among them, the well-known brands of consumer goods industry in 2018, and the number of independent brand enterprises that focus on tracking and cultivating clothing and home textiles are among the highest in the same cities.

The declaration process is voluntary application for declaration of the city, and the deadline for submission is October 15th.
