Wechat Announced Today Its Soc2type2 Report

On August 21st, WeChat announced today that it had obtained the SOC2Type2 report issued by the internationally known third party independent service accounting firm in August 2019. Statistics show that SOc, System and OrganizationControls, is an auditing standard issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

It has been learned that WeChat had already obtained the SOC2Type1 report which proved the rationality of information security related internal control design. Enterprise WeChat said that as of now, WeChat has obtained SOC2Type1 service audit report, SOC2Type2 service audit report, ISO/IEC27018 public cloud personal privacy protection authentication, ISO/IEC20000 information technology service management system certification, ISO/IEC27001 information security management system certification, and national network security level protection three level certification.

Information security is the key to the layout of enterprise office software. The media noted that Fang Yongxin, general manager of Alibaba Group partners and nail business service department, revealed in a media interview at the Chongqing intelligence conference last August that nails have passed a series of international safety certification, including SOC2Type1, ISO27001, ISO27018 certification, and the three level certification of "information system security level protection" by the Ministry of public security of China.
