Bemberg is a product of copper and silk products developed by Asahi Asahi.

In 2017, Bemberg obtained the authentication of the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) of Textile Exchange.

Because their raw materials are natural materials, even if they are incineration, they will not produce harmful substances.

The production process of Bemberg is also very environmentally friendly. It uses the self generating equipment of Asahi Asahi, and the proportion of renewable energy such as hydroelectric power and biomass energy generated by the factory is as high as 40%.

As a fuel for power generation, chips are reused and the waste discharged from factories is fully recovered and reused.

Including other wastes, it has basically achieved a zero emission rate of 100%, and the zero emission rate in 2016 is 99.8%.

In 2017, the company sponsored the Eleventh Forme Presentation activity hosted by Fashion Biz Navi, Japan, to enable fashion students to create their works by feeling the beauty of fiber.

The students who participated in the activity first studied the relevant material knowledge at the Bemberg University of Hong Kong organized by Asahi Asahi, and then went to visit the company's Commodity Science Institute in Shigan City, Shiga Prefecture, and then used the fabric to design and produce their own works.

Finally, the exhibition will be displayed on the "JFW Japan Creation" exhibition at the Tokyo International Exchange Center.
