Alibaba Attends ODCC2017 Summit To Share Ali'S Three Strategies

Recently, the 2017 open data center Summit (ODCC) was held in Beijing International Conference Center. Zhou Ming, general manager of Alibaba Infrastructure Group, delivered a keynote speech. He shared with the participants the opportunities and challenges faced by Alibaba in the field of infrastructure, and proposed three coping strategies: white box technology integration and data Center intelligence.

At the same time, "facts prove that white box is not enough, and white box is only a part of the problem." Zhou Ming stressed, "our goal is to integrate architecture, and gradually pform from white box to architecture integration. This is our core and best reflects our technological competitiveness."

Only by self customized hardware, combined with the optimization of the upper level software and the characteristics of the business scenario, can the integrated architecture design achieve the ultimate goal of the whole system performance.

Finally, when it comes to the intelligence of data centers, Zhou Ming thinks that "not just the equipment is running well, the software is good enough", but also faces the large-scale deployment of data centers. At the same time, the data center will inevitably fail during the operation of 7 * 24 hours, and it is also a difficult problem to locate and repair faults quickly.
