According to the briefing, in Zhuhai, Shantou, Huizhou, Maoming, Qingyuan, Jieyang and other 6 prefecture level cities, 25 sports shoes sold by 25 distribution units were involved, involving 43 manufacturers.

After examination, 50 sports shoes were judged to be totally unqualified by supervision. The other 50 samples of sports shoes were not found to be unqualified, and the unqualified rate was 50%.

Compared with the quality inspection of sports shoes in the field of circulation in the past year, the failure rate of sampling for sports shoes decreased year by year, from 67.1% in 2013-2014 to 50% in 2015-2016, which was 17.1 percentage points lower.

"The sampling rate of sneakers in the supermarket is the highest, reaching 66.7%, and the disqualification rates of shopping malls and self-employed persons are 23.8% and 52.7% respectively," he said.

The responsible person said that the sampling outlets include shopping malls, supermarkets and self-employed households.

Among them, 21 sports shoes were collected from 3 shopping malls, 55 sports shoes were collected from 18 self-employed households, 24 sports shoes were collected in 4 supermarkets.

And there are 3 commodity sampling sites for the self-employed.

The folding resistance is an index to evaluate whether the sole of shoes is easy to break, whether the surface material is easy to crack, whether to split the pulp and whether the bottom is easy to be opened.
