Xinjiang Akesu Textile Bridge Held Foundation Laying Ceremony

The foundation laying ceremony of the bridge project was held. This marks the opening of the fast track between Akesu city and Akesu textile industrial city, and directly shortens the mileage of Akesu city to Akesu's textile industrial city about 2 kilometers.

The plan was completed in September 2017 and opened to traffic in October 1st.

As a demonstration project of PPP project in Akesu area, the textile bridge has crossed the railway line.

The southern double line and reserved railway special line, north of the bridge in Jiefang Road, Akesu, is located at the northern section of the textile road. The project is 1.56 kilometers long, the main bridge is 31.6 meters wide, the approach bridge is 27 meters wide, and the two way 6 lanes include main bridge, approach bridge and approach road. The main bridge is arranged as 2 * 140m single tower double cable plane combined girder cable stayed bridge. The estimated investment is 390 million yuan, which is invested and constructed by Qingdao Highway Construction Group Co., Ltd.

Its completion will form a circular network between Akesu city and Akesu textile industrial city and alar city. It will greatly enhance the accessibility of industrial city and external links, become an important link between Akesu textile industrial city and Akesu City, and form a smooth, safe, fast and convenient road traffic system in Akesu textile industrial city, and rationally arrange various kinds of traffic service measures, and create a good, efficient and economical pportation system.

The approval and commencement of this project is the result of support and efforts made by the prefectural Party committee and the administrative department. The management committee and the project units have condensed their efforts and sweat, and all sectors of society have paid high attention to this project.
