Vietnam'S Footwear Exports Increased By 8.8% In The First Half Of This Year
According to statistics from the General Administration of statistics, Vietnam's exports amounted to about $14 billion 800 million in June (2016), an increase of 3% over the previous month (5), and a growth of 4.4% over the same period (2015).

However, the export volume of some products decreased, including rice 1 billion 300 million US dollars, 2.7% reduction, crude oil 1 billion 100 million US dollars, 46.6% reduction, iron and steel 832 million US dollars, 5.2% reduction, rubber 530 million US dollars, and 12.3% reduction.
Regarding the export market, the United States is still the largest export market for Vietnam in the first half of this year, with an export volume of US $17 billion 700 million, an increase of 12.8%, followed by the European Union, an export amount of US $16 billion 300 million, an increase of 9.8%, China's 9 billion 200 million US dollars, an increase of 14.3%, a $5 billion 100 million increase in Korea, an increase of 39%, an export of 8 billion 200 million dollars to the ASEAN, a decrease of 12.6%, and an increase in Japan's 6 billion 600 million dollars.
