UNIQLO officially launched the Uniqlo x Hana Tajima Designer Series in July 3rd today, including the traditional Muslim dress including headscarves and long gowns.

Hana Tajima is a British and Japanese mixed blood designer and a famous Islamic fashion blogger.

At the age of 17, Tajima converted to Islam.

She used to design beautiful Islamic traditions.

And specializes in its own brand Maysaa.

"Muslim women in modern cities not only pursue decent dress, but also desire comfort and fashion," Tajima said. "We want to design a series, not just to enjoy it.

"Women, but also in line with international vision, more modern and fashion."

From behind the scenes videos and posters, Tajima's design has gently coupled the requirements of the traditional Muslim clothing to the degree of nudity and modern aesthetics.

In this series, the traditional muslin headscarf is dyed with double sided dyed fabrics, mainly turmeric, brown and dark green.

There are also high tech uniforms, "AIRism" high collar T-shirts and long coat and so on.

Although in the twenty-fourth verse thirtieth of the Qur'an, it is specifically told that the dress of Muslim women must be "conservative and appropriate". In some countries, even women are forced to show their eyes by legal means.

But among the many Muslim female believers scattered around the world, the pursuit of fashion and the concept of openness are not few. This also provides a fresh market for fashion brands.

UNIQLO's joint design is mainly targeted at Singapore's market, and 18% of the local population is Muslim.

In addition, compared with the Middle East and Central Asia, Singapore has a lot of cultural environment to open up, which provides a guarantee for religious clothing.

From the sales point of view, the appearance of clothes is traditional, the idea is fresh, and the scarf is also good looking. Maybe it will also attract non muslim women.

The Uniqlo x Hana Tajima series has been designated in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia since then.
