Born in 1905 to a wealthy family in Grand Norwell, Norman, France.

From childhood, he liked the works of great masters such as Picasso and Matisse very much, and developed his taste and preferences in art and design.

After completing his compulsory military service in 1927, Dior opened a small art gallery with his friend Jacques Bonjean the following year because of his strong interest in art.

In 1931, the family of Dior suffered a financial crisis. In the same year, when he returned from the long journey to Russia, he found that even his friends who had been associated with him went bankrupt and had to end the operation of the gallery.

In 1934, Dior was in poor health and left Paris for rest in Spain.

At that time, he felt the desire to hide in the body and began to learn the technology of weaving and embroidery.

He returned to Paris in 1935. At that time, he was thirty years old. Because of his hard work, he painted some design manuscripts and drew some popular publications such as Fegalo.

His first picture was sold at a price of twenty francs.

After two years of struggle, he attracted the attention of designer Rober Piguet, launched many of his design manuscripts, and hired him as designer in the following year, giving Dior the chance to learn fashion design with Piguet.

In 1939, the two World War began again, and he was drafted into the south of France to join the army.

When Dior returned to Paris in late 1941, the original design position had been taken away by others.

However, talented people are not going to be buried too long.

In 1945, Marcel boussac, a business tycoon in textile production, invited Dior to cooperate with them in developing the fashion business.

At the age of forty, Dior finally came to Paris's famous high fashion street.
