TextileMachinery ExhibitionExhibition

June 5, 2012 - Sustainable textile Production technology plays a major role. Asia Textile Machinery Exhibition 2012 and China International Textile Machinery Exhibition It will be held in Shanghai in mid June. VDMA German Textile Machinery Association published a successful case of "sustainable profitability" among its member enterprises. As part of the blue energy efficiency launched by VDMA, the first 5 successful cases came from Groz – Beckert, Osthoff – Senge, Tr tzschler Spinning, Sedo Treepoint and Sedo. The technical solutions provided by the member companies of VDMA have been applied to the production of textiles and have been cost effective in the whole industry chain.

Preparation before spinning -- saving raw materials

Since raw material prices occupy a major part of yarn cost, saving raw materials is the best way to reduce costs. Intelligent tools can improve the efficiency of cotton production and save raw materials. Optical sensors can measure the amount of yarn and waste, and thus achieve double benefits: reduce total waste and increase cleanliness. For example, a spinning mill that uses ten thousand tons of cotton per year can save 62 thousand to 90 thousand US dollars of raw materials per year.

Knitting -- low energy and lubricating oil consumption

Knitted fabrics are produced by efficient circular knitting machines. The knitted equipment is tested at high temperature and can reach 100 degrees or even higher. Especially when running or repairing equipment, users often complain about such temperature. Effective cooling system is technically feasible, but also requires high energy consumption. As the movement of knitting needle produces a lot of frictional heat, the feasible solution is to reduce frictional heat through the design of knitting needles. The low friction coefficient of the needle plate and the reduction of the weight of the needle make it easier for the needle to move, thereby reducing the demand for energy and the use of lubricating oil. As a result, the energy consumption of the equipment is reduced by 20%, the air-conditioning consumption of the workshop temperature is also reduced, and the energy efficiency of the equipment is provided.

Finishing and singeing -- optimizing gas consumption

In the process of singeing, the fibers protruding on the textile surface need to be removed by gas flame. Gas consumption per unit weight of fabric is an important factor in process cost. The process parameters, especially the amount of combustion, are a general value mark. We can only first adjust the singeing value according to the singeing experiment. The singeing device can be adjusted in advance according to the amount of wool. This ensures that the singeing parameters of the same fabric are the same, and the gas volume is increased only when needed.

Dyeing and printing -- reducing energy consumption

In the operation cost of various roller dryer, energy cost has the most potential. Convection and radiation cause energy loss when opening the oven. Using special insulation and the latest energy development system, the energy consumption of drum dryer is reduced by 30%.

The entire textile production chain -- energy monitoring

The application of intelligent energy management system to optimize energy objectives and tasks can be planned, implemented and implemented. All relevant equipment and drivers can be equipped with an energy meter. According to the principles of monitoring and planning, energy consumption (electricity, gas, compressed air, water, steam, waste water, carbon dioxide emissions) can be collected and analyzed. Therefore, companies can find out where energy waste is and how to improve it. Because the energy consumption of the textile industry is very high, such as spinning, weaving or knitting, energy consumption will be reduced and energy optimization will be carried out later.

Successful case @ITMA ASIA

During the ITMA Asia exhibition, viewers can get a blue energy efficiency brochure at VDMA's member companies and the general information booth of the German Pavilion. The information desk is located at the C10 booth of the E7 Pavilion (Association Village). The successful version of the Chinese version will be distributed at the June exhibition.
