Some equipment did not consider the communication interface with the workshop control layer, some of which had communication interfaces but varied, which affected the equipment interconnection of textile enterprises.


At present, most of the informatization work in textile enterprises has realized local applications such as purchase, sale, storage, office automation and cotton blending management, especially in the cotton textile enterprises, which has exceeded 60%.

However, production monitoring and quality testing are one of the weak links of textile enterprises.

The cotton textile enterprises take part in the two integration evaluation of the Ministry of industry and information industry. The coverage of the online monitoring and testing machine is 21.9% through the network, and the coverage rate of the online monitoring machine is only 18.7%. This fully shows that the room for improving online monitoring and testing informatization is still very large. It should be realized by improving the digitalization level of the equipment and promoting the use of online monitoring and testing system.


Interface standards promulgated, most enterprises wait and see

In order to guide the development and production of textile equipment from different manufacturers to meet the requirements of the equipment interconnection, in 2007, the China Textile machinery and equipment industry association took the lead in formulating the FZ/T 90108-2010 "cotton textile equipment network management communication interface and specification" industry standard, and promulgated it in August 2010.

This is also the first digital information technology standard in the textile machinery industry, which has made a good start for standardizing the interconnection of textile machinery equipment.

Sun Liangyuan, professor and senior engineer of the China Textile machinery and equipment industry association, who has drawn up and participated in the "cotton textile equipment network management communication interface and specification" standard, said that the purpose of setting up the industry standard is to facilitate the production of cotton spinning equipment manufacturers to choose the appropriate industrial control network in the design of the new machine, reserve the standard communication interface, and provide reference for the cotton mill's centralized control system construction and equipment selection.

The communication interface standard is a recommended standard. If the cotton spinning equipment manufacturers can take this standard as a reference, the communication interface of the equipment should be unified as soon as possible. This will play a positive role in promoting the information management of the cotton textile industry and promoting the two fusion of cotton textile enterprises.


"Cotton spinning equipment network management communication interface and specification" industry standard has been published for more than a year, but the promotion process is relatively slow.

Most spinning machinery enterprises do not respond quickly, but are waiting for the attitude of the user enterprises. Although the textile enterprises have attached great importance to the information-based management of the enterprises, they still do not know enough about the efficient database management that may be brought to the enterprises after the equipment networking. Therefore, the demand is not strong.

Only a small number of information-based enterprises are in the front of the textile enterprises, and they invite the textile machinery enterprises or electric control system enterprises to pform the equipment interfaces in the workshop.


Realizing the technology of interface unification is not it?


Sun Liangyuan said that in the formulation of the industry standard for the communication interface and specification of cotton spinning equipment network management, the feasibility of standard implementation was not only considered in order to facilitate its popularization and application, but also considered the advanced nature of the technology and ensured the sustainable development of technology. At the same time, it also paid attention to the advanced technology and development trend of the famous cotton spinning equipment networking in the world, and approached the international level as far as possible.

For this reason, the standard recommends several kinds of communication protocols and interface types that are mature, versatile and widely used, but strive to avoid restricting technological innovation.


"All enterprises need to make individual adjustments to the original system data so that they can be unified to the standard." Jin Guang Cheng, deputy general manager of Jingwei Textile Machinery New Technology Co., Ltd. implements the industry standard of "cotton spinning equipment network management communication interface and specification", which is technically difficult for spinning machinery enterprises.

He said that when making equipment networking for the user enterprises, if the manufacturers of different equipment give active coordination and open communication protocol, then the interface unification can be easily achieved; if the host enterprise does not disclose the agreement, then the communication interface needs to be reformed. Generally, we should add communication modules, upgrade CPU types, or replace the controller products.


"Networking management of all equipment, centralized production and equipment monitoring is the specific requirement for the integration of cotton and textile two technologies. It is also a management mode that cotton textile enterprises must change from extensive to intensive." Ye Jian Chun, Deputy Secretary General of the China Cotton Textile Industry Association, said that during the "12th Five-Year" period, the cotton textile industry should promote the industrial restructuring with the integration of two technologies, and infiltrate the information technology into the whole process of cotton textile production. Through the application of information technology, the enterprise's internal management, technological development, product design, online testing and marketing methods will change, so as to upgrade the textile industry.

He urged cotton spinning enterprises to reconnect and work on equipment networking as soon as possible.


In order to let cotton textile equipment manufacturers and cotton textile manufacturers further understand the specific contents of the "cotton textile equipment network management communication interface and specification" industry standard, and promote the unification of the interface standard of cotton spinning equipment, in December of this year, the China Textile machinery and equipment industry association and the China Cotton Textile Industry Association jointly organized the propaganda standard of this industry standard.

Jingwei Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., which has the capacity of producing cotton spinning sets, is very active in implementing the industry standard of "communication interface and specification for network management of cotton spinning equipment".

After the meeting, the company immediately called the subordinate enterprises and deployed the unified network communication interface work.

Jin Guangcheng said that the unified interface is more prominent for Jingwei AG, and it is easier for them to sell their equipment.
