The Third World Footwear Development Forum: Addressing The Social Value Of Labor-Intensive Enterprises
Long Yongtu:
Dongguan is a "wounded hero".
It calls on the government to see the social value of labor-intensive enterprises, and holds that the state should support it. Pearl River Delta Transformation and upgrading. The third world held yesterday footwear industry On the development forum, Long Yongtu, vice chairman of the Boao forum for Asia and vice minister of foreign trade and economic cooperation, interviewed our reporter and talked freely about his views on current economic phenomena.
Face up to the social value of labor intensive enterprises
"We are a socialist country, and we should pay more attention to fairness and justice. It will be a great article to support and subsidize small and medium-sized labor-intensive enterprises from the macro level. Long Yongtu believes that the future of small and medium-sized labor-intensive enterprises will become increasingly sad day, just as the abolition of agricultural taxes, labor intensive enterprises are also vulnerable industries, we should start from the livelihood of the people and solve employment, give support and subsidies.
The state should see the contribution of Dongguan and other cities.
"Just like those who need help after meritorious service, we should give support to promote spanformation and upgrading so that people can live better." Long Yongtu pointed out that in the past 30 years since reform and opening up, Dongguan and other Pearl River Delta cities have been digging into the first barrel of gold, but they have paid a high price in terms of environment and so on. For this reason, the state should see the contribution of Dongguan and other cities, and should support the spanformation of these cities.
Long Yongtu also said that in the process of urbanization, there is a problem of pseudo urbanization in China. Because farmers did not become residents after they came to cities, they returned to their homes after a period of time. In Long Yongtu's view, how to retain a group of skilled blue collar workers is the key to the development of Dongguan and even China's manufacturing industry. In the past, Dongguan and other places did not leave migrant workers, this is a historical problem. But now we must regard it as the core issue to speed up urbanization and enhance the core competitiveness of manufacturing industry. Otherwise, I am sorry not only for migrant workers but also for the development of blue collar workers in urgent need of manufacturing industry.
