According to its introduction, in foreign countries, laws and regulations have already been used to limit the use of plasticizers in infants and children's products. In addition, the project of checking the plasticizer has been added in the safety technical specification for infant and child textile products, which is currently being submitted for approval, which stipulates that the total amount of 6 kinds of o-phenyl two formate should not exceed 0.1%.

There are restrictions on the heavy metal, carcinogenic dyes, sensitizing dyes and other toxic and harmful substances in domestic infant and children's clothing.

For example, heavy metals, only 5 kinds of heavy metals such as chromium and lead can be extracted in the current national standard. However, the new national standard will increase antimony, cadmium, six valent chromium, cobalt and nickel.


Heavy metals are easily found in clothing rings, zippers, buttons and other decorative accessories.

In addition, the new national standard also stipulates that infants and young children should not use accessories similar to food in appearance, and there should not be any thread or joints that can easily damage the skin.
