Wool Export Growth This Year

Statistics released by NZ said that New Zealand exported in August this year.

Amount of money

It was 3 billion 400 million NZ yuan, an increase of 313 million NZ yuan compared with the same month last year, with a growth rate of 10%.

In August this year, exports of meat, crude oil, dairy products and fruits in New Zealand increased by 76 million (32%), 73 million (65%), 71 million (14%) and 5900 (50%) NW respectively compared with the same month last year.

New Zealand BNZ Bank economist said New Zealand August year

Trade

The performance of the surplus is boosted by the continued strong export of dairy products and timber. In the future, the meat industry will continue to be prosperous. However, other agricultural products prices have been alerting. Among them, Fonterra, the main exporter of New Zealand dairy products, predicts that the purchase price of milk will fall by 13% next year, which will also be affected by the global construction industry downturn, which will also put pressure on the price and quantity of New Zealand timber exports.

New Zealand ANZ bank economists also agree with New Zealand agricultural commodities.

Price

The risk of falling, however, will be mitigating temporarily because the New Zealand export market is quite fragmented, but if OECD's developed country's economic growth is further slowing down, it will also affect New Zealand's main trading partners and export New Zealand's exports.

The data also showed that the export volume of New Zealand to mainland China increased by 117 million NZD (47%) compared with the same month last year, of which pine timber exports increased significantly, while exports to the US fell by 27 million yuan (10%) in the same month.
