Imported Shoes From Russia

According to statistics provided by the Russian Federation customs bureau, compared with the same period in 2006, Russia's total merchandise imports from CIS countries increased by 49.1% in July.

At the same time, imports of light industrial products such as cloth, clothing and footwear that were not included in the competition increased by 89% over last year.

Some experts say that this phenomenon is caused by the reduction of grey imports and the gradual legalization of imports.

From Russia's import of light industrial products, we can see that footwear has seen a significant increase, and total imports increased by 1.24 times in July 2007.

Followed by clothing: imports of knitted goods increased by 1.18 times, and textile imports increased by 1.15 times.
