Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology is located in the beautiful world kite city, a famous textile city, Weifang, founded in 1978, and became a "Shandong Textile Vocational College" in August 2001. The Department of costume and art design of Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology is one of the earliest established teaching departments in our college.

Now our department has set up four garment professionals, and is the main base for training high-level talents of clothing in our province.

At present, our department has set up a total of 4 specialties in costume design, garment plate making and processing, clothing marketing, and personage design. Among them, garment plate making and craft specialty are state-level demonstrative key construction specialties, with state-of-the-art clothing teaching production and training equipment and instruments, with a total value of more than 15 million yuan.

There are 1 professors in the full-time faculty, 3 of them are qualified professors and associate professors, six of them are graduate students in service, and 90% of them belong to "double qualification". Many teachers are studying in Ukraine and Philippines.
