Workplace Year-End Bonus Job Hopping

At the beginning of the new year, the Spring Festival is approaching. Workplace In addition to the Spring Festival holiday, people most expect things to be able to get a "big red envelope" at the end of the year to reward their hard work in the past year. How many people have got the year-end bonus now? CPI has been rising all the way this year. The year-end award is Has there been any increase in the number of year-end awards? Job hopping Is it relevant? Zhaopin recruitment recently launched the special investigation of the 2010 year end Award for workplace workers. In the three week survey, a total of 6000 workers were involved. The results showed that seven adults complained that the year-end bonus was unfair, and 21.7% of them did not act at all.

   Over 80% state-owned enterprises set year-end awards

The year-end award is not only an affirmation of employees' work ability and performance, but also an important way to motivate employees to continue their hard work in the coming year. Zhaopin recruitment survey showed that 70.2% of the respondents said they had set up year-end awards.

According to the interaction analysis of different units, 80% state-owned enterprises employees said their enterprises set up year-end awards, the highest proportion was 82.9%, and the proportion of foreign-funded enterprises and institutions was quite similar. 78.9% of the employees of three funded enterprises and 78% of the public institutions indicated that their units had set year-end awards. The proportion of private enterprises, state organs and representative offices is relatively low. Six of the three working units who are employed in the workplace have year-end awards. The proportion of non-governmental organizations is the lowest, less than 50% of the practitioners say their units have set year-end awards.

For their own units do not set year-end awards, 55.9% of people expressed the hope that such a benefit will be in the future, at least this is a year's work for their affirmation, 42% of the people expressed frustration, and the future units set up year-end bonus do not have hope, only 0.5% of the units show other welfare units, so whether to set up year-end awards do not matter.

   More than 40% of the year-end award has been less than 5000 yuan.

Generally speaking, the year-end bonus is the last natural month before the Spring Festival. By the middle of January, Zhaopin recruitment research data showed that 16.6% of the workers who had set up year-end awards in their workplace had received year-end awards, while 69.5% of them said that although they had not yet received them, they were expected to have. And 13.9% of people said that this year's year-end award and their own missed.

The survey shows that 43% of the people's annual bonus is below 5000 yuan, 28.9% of them get 5000 to 10000 yuan, 28.2% of them get more than 10000 yuan, and more than 10% of the workplace's annual bonus is over 30000 yuan.

The year-end bonus is mainly distributed in cash. Then what part of the cash is used? When the Spring Festival is used, the expenses will increase correspondingly as a traditional Chinese festival. The year-end bonus is mainly used for spending the new year, which can reduce the economic pressure of the working people during the festival. The second and third places are used for saving and filial piety. Other purposes include buying necessities, investments, and human relationships. The proportion of people who choose to store the year-end bonus is 70.5%, but the proportion chosen to store it is only 12.5%, while nearly 30% of them choose not to save. {page_break}

26.1% of the working people are too few at the end of the year.

According to the survey, only 22.7% of the workplace people are very clear about the standard of the annual bonus awarded by the unit, and nearly 30% workers say they do not know it at all. Correspondingly, 69% of people believe that the annual bonus of their units is not fair. As a career counselor of Zhaopin, it is suggested that managers of enterprises should be cautious in dealing with year-end awards. As a means to motivate employees, they should try to ensure their fairness so as not to hurt their enthusiasm, but instead receive bad results.

What is the satisfaction level of the workplace? The survey shows that fewer than 30% of the working people are satisfied with the year-end bonus. On the one hand, the criteria for issuing the year-end bonus are not very clear, and the degree of recognition of its fairness is relatively low. On the other hand, CPI is rising all the way, and prices are rising steadily, but the year-end bonus is not so obvious. These two factors will inevitably make people feel unbalanced in their workplace. Even if they get the year-end bonus, their satisfaction will be low.

Is there a direct correlation between the year-end bonus and job hopping? The Zhaopin survey shows that 21.7% of people are temporarily sleeping at the end of the year award, and so on when they get the year-end bonus, while 26.1% of them are planning to switch jobs and find another club because they are too few year-end awards. It can be seen that job hopping behavior of workplace people is related to year-end awards. The number and fairness of year-end awards are important factors affecting employee turnover.
