2010 China International Fabric Design Competition Innovation And Upgrading
2010 the appraisal conference of China International fabric design competition was successfully concluded in Keqiao, Shaoxing. A total of 18 pieces of fabric design and 15 designs were awarded the prize.
It is understood that, in order to further promote seamless connection between creative design and industrial resources, and promote the design concept of "linking design with industry, combining concepts with garments", and better realize the value complementarity between fabric design and terminal market, 2010 China International fabric design contest has chosen to join forces with Shaoxing Keqiao China Textile City again to innovate in content and form of competition.
After the appraisal meeting ended, the reporter interviewed Li Binhong, director of the national textile product development center. She expressed her views on the highlights of the competition, the combination of products and the market and the direction of R & D under the industrial environment.
The degree of integration of creativity and market
Through the 11 years of China International fabric design competition, we constantly explore advanced development concepts and growth momentum for China's textile industry, and gradually move towards maturity and standardization.
Li Binhong said: "through the competition, let the whole industry realize that China's textile industry will be based on innovation and creativity in the future. Chinese textile brands should provide fashion trends for clothing brands. This is one of the purposes and significance of this competition."
And choose to continue to cooperate with the Shaoxing county government to promote the design competition. In her view, Shaoxing is an industrial gathering place with Chinese characteristics. Therefore, its future development should not only take advantage of the scale, but also take the lead in the design and creativity.
The appraisal committee will not only select fabric designs that conform to the fashion trend and market demand from the design works, but also hope to provide abundant information for the Chinese textile industry through the platform of the competition, and pmit the advantages of the Shaoxing textile industry and the development and pformation of the textile fabrics.
Li Binhong pointed out that compared with previous competitions, the quality of the works of this competition has been greatly improved, especially students' works are no longer merely emphasizing performance skills, but more emphasis on application.
First of all, color and style are more closely linked with market popularity. Secondly, it is more convenient for printing and dyeing processing. This is a valuable part of this competition, and is also an obvious result of the college students' guidance work before the competition. The importance of technology and popularity is one of the highlights of the fabric contest.
In terms of creativity, color application is a relatively weak link in China's textile industry.
Li Binhong analyzed that, on the one hand, most of the R & D personnel of enterprises were restricted by professional, and the system of color training was relatively small. We should strengthen the systematic study of color theory. On the other hand, enterprises mainly focused on order processing, lack of exercise and the sense of color cultivation. In the process of processing orders, the quality of color could not be improved, resulting in the lack of ability in product design.
China's technological innovation can have the courage to deal with the whole market, but it seems quite passive in design, especially in foreign trade enterprises.
"The real idea should be to combine different processes very skillfully, rather than combining expensive materials with complex technologies."
Li Binhong said that the "Tianzhu Fiber Application Award" is a special award for this competition. The aim is to advocate natural, environmental friendly and healthy fabric design and consumption concept through competition. The main idea is to use the bamboo fiber in the wool and silk, and replace the pure silk and sheep's hair with expensive bamboo.
For example, a piece of fabric works of this competition, through the organizational structure design, cleverly avoided the weakness of fiber materials, and was affirmed in the test of the market, and the experts also gave a very high evaluation.
It can also be seen that many products of new materials and technologies have sprung up in this competition. The super fine denier filament is the most obvious. In addition, the cotton and polyester blended printing products have similar handle to cotton silk blending, which also depends on the fine denier of the raw materials themselves.
Adapt to the trend of fast consumption in the public
Li Binhong pointed out that from the perspective of the future development trend of the global consumer market, it must be the mass consumption of fast consumption, and China is precisely the best market supplier to meet the fast consumption of the masses.
For China's textile products to win a stronger market competitiveness, she believes that there should be three elements: first, the price, when prices can not meet the needs of fast fashion consumer fashion brands, everything is impossible; second is the popularity, to grasp the trend of popularity, so that the design of products with new ideas; third is quality and delivery time, in a short period of time can quickly and well to provide products to customers.
Under this premise, the standard of contest selection tends to be relatively simple in color composition, and the new technology and design of dyeing and finishing can be combined.
At present, the price of conventional products of Chinese textile enterprises is very low, which can only guarantee production capacity, which has already reached a consensus in the industry.
Therefore, the attitude of the enterprise to innovation is positive, and the attitude towards the trend is welcome, which is a good phenomenon, but the enterprise lacks the consciousness of providing innovative space for the R & D personnel.
Li Binhong appealed to textile enterprises to create more knowledge of the market, lifestyle and clothing brands, and provide more training opportunities for product developers.
She pointed out that in this selection, there is no shortage of enterprises doing well in these areas. The overall level of entries of these enterprises is very high, and the chances of winning prizes are very high. It can be seen that they attach great importance to the cultivation of the overall innovation ability.
In addition, a number of innovative small businesses have emerged.
Looking back at the previous competition, we can see that the big enterprises such as Ruyi and Daly have won several consecutive awards. This year, a group of small enterprises are coming to the fore. The reason is that they have the sense of innovation.
Li Binhong said: "in the long run, the two kinds of enterprises will have competitive advantages. One is the enterprises with superior scale, with advanced technology and equipment, large quantities and good quality, such as Lu Tai, sunshine, Ruyi, etc." and the other is small enterprises, focusing on resource integration, strong innovation ability and high profit margins, such as Ding Tian textile.
