SASAC: Central Enterprises In August To Achieve Profits More Than 100 Billion Yuan

Data released today show that the central enterprises achieved a total profit of 723 billion 550 million yuan in 1-8, which was achieved in August.

The total operating income reached 10 trillion and 573 billion 120 million yuan, an increase of 40.4% over the same period last year, a slower growth rate of 2 percentage points over the 1-7 months, a 50% increase in the total profit, a 4.3 percentage point increase over the 1-7 month period, and a total tax of 888 billion 330 million yuan, an increase of 22.6% over the previous year.

From the analysis of profit data published by the SASAC, the profits of central enterprises in January were 74 billion 330 million yuan, 60 billion 450 million in February, 96 billion 90 million in March, 95 billion 120 million in April, 95 billion 330 million in May, 103 billion 640 million in June, and 93 billion 900 million yuan in June.

The two quarter to date, the profitability of the central enterprises has been relatively stable, fluctuating between 900 and 100 billion yuan, of which the first time in June exceeded 100 billion yuan.

Some experts said that the domestic macro-economic stimulus policy made the central enterprises directly benefited from heavy chemical industry, raw materials, equipment and infrastructure construction, and achieved better economic results in the first 8 months.
