It is understood that from 1 to June, the domestic sales value of textile industry increased by 28.26% compared to the same period last year, up 17.55 percentage points from the same period last year, and domestic sales accounted for 81.58%, an increase of 1.35 percentage points over the same period last year.

The total retail sales grew by 18.2% over the same period last year. The retail sales of clothing shoes and hats and needle textiles increased by 23.8% over the same period last year. In the first half of this year, the industry sales ratio was 97.59%, an increase of 0.31 percentage points over the same period, and the link between production and marketing was better.

Customs express data showed that the total export volume of textiles and clothing reached US $88 billion 878 million from 1 to June, representing a year-on-year increase of 22.04% and a 33.10 percentage point increase over the same period last year.

The total export volume of textiles was US $35 billion 652 million, an increase of 32.31% over the same period last year, and the total export volume of clothing was 53 billion 226 million US dollars, up 16.02% over the same period last year. The recovery rate of textile exports was obviously higher than that of clothing.

From a single month, exports of textiles and clothing in June amounted to US $18 billion 665 million, an increase of 33.83% over the same period last year, which is only 19 million US dollars lower than the peak before the international financial crisis.


According to the relevant data of China Textile Industry Association, in July 2010, China exported 7 billion 191 million US dollars of textile yarn and fabrics, and exported garments and accessories 13 billion 603 million US dollars, an increase of 1.39% and 17.5% compared to the same period last year. The growth of textile yarn and fabric was basically the same as that in June, while the increase in clothing and accessories was widened.

From 1 to July 2010, the export of textile yarns and fabrics was US $42 billion 839 million, an increase of 32.8%.

China's export garments and accessories reached 66 billion 827 million US dollars, an increase of 17.4%.
