Hebei Rongcheng County, known as the "famous clothing city in northern China", held the Shanghai Hebei garment industry cooperation conference in June 29th. It signed 4 framework agreements and established long-term strategic partnership with Shanghai and Yangtze River Delta 400 garment enterprises.


The annual production of 450 million garments (sets) of all kinds of garments and the reputation of "South Shishi and Northern Rongcheng" are located in the 1 hour economic circle of Beijing and Tianjin, forming a diversified and multi scale industrial scale with the surrounding areas. Rongcheng clothing, which has a gross annual production value of 15 billion 900 million yuan, is mainly exported to more than 50 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, North and South America and Europe. Although it has successfully entered Korea, Japan, Germany, the United States, Italy and other developed countries, most enterprises are still OEM and licensed mode of production, earning a small amount of processing fees.


Facing the increasingly fierce market competition, how to build Rongcheng into the largest clothing R & D base in North China, the largest clothing production base and the largest clothing distribution base, Rongcheng county Party committee and county government have been making efforts.

According to Li Shaoxiang, the county magistrate, Rongcheng is vigorously implementing the "four place" strategy of creating famous brands, building famous enterprises, famous products and famous cities, striving to improve the quality and grade of clothing products, increasing investment in research and development, and promoting the upgrading of products.


Rongcheng has actively encouraged enterprises to join forces to fight "group warfare". A joint-stock "Rongcheng clothing research and development center" has been established to accelerate the pace of technological pformation and promote the upgrading of products. The enterprises that won Chinese famous brands and well-known trademarks in China will be rewarded 1 million yuan and strive to create 1-2 state-level brand names.


In Shanghai, the "Hebei Rongcheng garment industry Shanghai Cooperation meeting" was held in Rongcheng. Rongcheng focused on the "seven big projects" which invested over ten billion yuan in the 10 million mu garment industrial park, the northern clothing wholesale city, the Rongcheng garment accessories Industrial Park and so on, hoping to seize the Expo machinery and build up a platform for the enterprises to link up with the garment enterprises and businesses at home and abroad, making Rongcheng the "famous clothing city in northern China".


In the docking activities, 13 leading enterprises in Rongcheng, such as Li you, O Sen and Da Shui, have carried out docking, exchange and investment negotiations with the manufacturers, marketers and technicians of the garment industry in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other provinces and cities, as well as in the United States, Italy, France, Japan, Korea and other Chinese and foreign enterprises. They also seek cooperation and common development in garment processing, brand promotion, market development, design, fabric, management, equipment and personnel.


At the meeting, Rongcheng also signed 4 strategic cooperation agreements with the Shanghai apparel industry association, Shanghai Zhejiang chamber of Commerce, the Sino US business cooperation association and Anhui Baima Business Management Co., Ltd., and established long-term strategic partnership with more than 400 enterprises in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other provinces and cities, so as to achieve the goal of sharing market resources and achieving mutual benefits.
