Shoemaker Yuyuan Wholesale And Retail Revenue Increased 25%

Yuyuan group disclosed half a year's results. By the end of March this year, the business revenue of the wholesale and retail business of the group was recorded at 590 million yuan (US dollars, the same below), up 25.4% from the same period last year, mainly from 2272 direct retail retail outlets and the wholesale business in Greater China.

The revenue contribution of wholesale and retail businesses in Greater China continued to increase, accounting for 22.2% of the total annual turnover of the group. As of the end of March 2010, the group and its affiliates had directly operated 4311 retail outlets in China.

The annual sales volume of the group increased by 4.3% to 2 billion 655 million yuan per year. According to the business category, sports shoes, casual wear shoes / outdoor shoes and retail (footwear and clothing) accounted for 53.7%, 14% and 22.2% of the half yearly turnover respectively, and retail business grew 25.7% to 590 million dollars.

Regionally, with the growth of retail sales, Asia has become the largest market in the group and accounts for 42% of the total turnover. In the half year, Asia's turnover increased by 15.1% to 1 billion 113 million yuan, while Asia, Europe and the United States accounted for 92.8% of the total sales of three major markets.

In terms of output, due to the strong orders of existing customers and new customers, by the end of March, the total output of footwear was 136 million pairs, an annual increase of 4.7%, and the total number of production lines increased by 5.2% to 445.
