Leather Exports Maintained Steady Growth In The First Quarter

According to the data released by the Ministry of industry and information, in 2010 1-3, the output value and export of leather, fur, feather (velvet) and its products remained stable and relatively fast, and the output of each product increased.


The sales value of leather, fur, feather (velvet) and its products industry increased by 26.4%, an increase of 23.21% over the same month. The production and sales rate was 97.65%, an increase of 1.36% over the same month, the cumulative sales rate was 97.98%, an increase of 0.12% over the same period last year, and the value of delivery increased 16.29% in the same month compared with the same period last month, and the total increase was 12.71%.


The output of all leather products in the leather industry increased year by year, except for the 26.8% of natural leather handbags (bags) and knapsacks. The output of other products increased, of which tanning fur (fold wool skin) increased the most, and its growth reached 75.8%.

The output of light leather increased by 14.6% over the same month and increased by 24.7%.
