Wujiang'S Clothing Exports Have Maintained Rapid Growth In The Face Of This Trend.

According to the Wujiang inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in the first quarter, Wujiang received a total of 3043 approved export clothing inspection items, worth 77 million 550 thousand US dollars, up 37.44% and 42.11% respectively over the same period.

Since this year, despite the negative impact of RMB appreciation, export tax rebate rate reduction and production factor cost rising, clothing export in Wujiang has maintained a rapid growth momentum.

It is understood that the Wujiang area, as the silk house and textile land, has 79 garment export enterprises under the jurisdiction of the whole country. There are various types of clothing exported, mainly including children's wear, underwear, casual wear, suits, leather clothing, etc. the products are mainly exported to the United States, the European Union, Japan and Canada.

Insiders pointed out that with the EU's quota restrictions on textile exports to China, the export capacity of Wujiang has been further released, and many enterprises have added EU customers. This is the main reason for the substantial increase in Wujiang's clothing export volume in the first quarter.
