The fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was founded in the spring of 1957, the two quarter of spring and autumn.

The two phase of the spring fair 2016 (119th session) will be held on April 2016 23-27.

CIPF 2016 Guangzhou international printing industry exhibition is an international event jointly organized by the authoritative Association of China. It is held in the same period as the Canton Fair. It is a specialized export exhibition specially designed for printing industry export enterprises.

CIPF 2016 Guangzhou international printing industry exhibition is divided into two seasons, spring and autumn, respectively, on 23-27 April and 23-27 October each year. It is held at Pazhou international procurement center. It has seamless connection with the Canton Fair and shares tens of thousands of foreign and thousands of domestic light industries.
