India'S Textile And Clothing Exports Grew Slowly.

Weaker global demand and lower competitiveness will mean fewer exports of textiles and clothing sector in 2014-2015.

Insiders say the decline should be five percent.

Although on an independent basis,

clothing

Exports show an increase in 10%-13%.

However, this will be the lowest in recent years.

According to the data of the joint textiles department, the business standard research bureau said that textile and clothing exports increased by nearly 4% to 34 billion dollars in the 10 months from April 2014 to January 2015.

Extrapolation, which means that this year's amount of $41 billion, an increase of 3.8%.

In 2013-2014, it rose 12.4% to 39 billion 300 million dollars.

June 2014, alliance textile minister

Santosh Gangwar

The 2014-2015 export sector will grow by 25% to 50 billion dollars.

Experts have given some reasons for moderate growth. If the current situation is still there, it may continue to 2015-2016.

"The industry has asked the government to introduce some export related products.

Incentive measures

Because compared with competitors, it lacks competitiveness.

In order to be better next year, the government will have to take measures to further stimulate exports of textiles and clothing. "

According to the EU's non food quick warning system, as of May 8th, the EU issued 21 footwear products bulletin cases, down 56.25% from the same period, including 14 cases in Spain, accounting for 2/3 of the total notification, an increase of 55.56% over the same period last year.

The source of the products is two countries: 13 cases in China, 92.86% in total and 1 in France.

The products are three categories: 8 cases of safety shoes (all of which are Spanish Bulletin), 2 cases of children's shoes and 4 cases of adult shoes.

The reason for the announcement is that there are 13 chemical risks and 1 asphyxia risk in the six valent chromium exceeding standard, and the 13 cases of six valent chromium exceeding standard footwear are all produced in China.

After analysis, the Spanish footwear bulletin has the following three characteristics.

First, Spain has a very strong spot check on Chinese shoes and is discriminatory.

In 2014, the EU's six price chromium bulletin reached a record high of 77 cases, but Chinese shoes accounted for only 33 cases. EU countries also had six price chromium exceeding standard cases, while Spain's six valent chromium shoes were all from China.

Spain has adopted voluntary measures against small accessories made of unqualified children's shoes in France, and the compulsory measures for refusing to enter China's unqualified children's shoes are obviously discriminatory.

The two is Spain's spot checks on the footwear samples which basically occurred in the entry of the customs. The market sampling is only a supplementary way, rather than the other European countries.

As we all know, spot checks are not like market checks. The goods being checked are stuck at ports only. Some of them are delayed for several months, which seriously affect market sales and even miss the peak season.

Of the 14 cases, 11 cases occurred in spot checks, accounting for 78.57%, while the other 3 cases were spot checks.

Since 2011, Spain has adopted coercive measures and even refused entry to the notified products.

Three, the safety footwear has become the focus of footwear products in Spain. According to the characteristics of the country's calendar year, the next stage is still the focus of attention.

The above analysis shows that Spain has become a high-risk country for China's shoe exports and should be highly concerned.
