What is happiness? One thousand people have one thousand different interpretations.

As an important event in the year of the opening of the "12th Five-Year plan" of the textile industry, the 2011 China International fabric design competition is the theme of "happiness". The purpose is to let fabric designers capture the changing world and national conditions, uphold the spirit of "humanistic care", and use fabric design language to explore new expectations for a better life.

Contestants will express their thinking, exploration and return to happiness through fabric design works, and combine their feelings and design creativity to promote the value extension of Chinese textile and clothing industry in cultural creativity and spiritual connotation.

  


The head of the China Textile Industry Association believes that the design must achieve cross boundary integration, which reflects the requirements of the times and consumers.

And happiness comes first from the sense of security. Therefore, encourage more wisdom to invest in low carbon, environmental protection and fiber recycling. On the basis of this, we can make breakthroughs and win more applause from the brand clothing.

  


Seamless integration of creativity and Industry

  


The competition plans to expand the "firearms" to expand the number of enterprises from 500 to 1000.

Most of the participating enterprises will be selected from China Textile City.

Judging from the past year's competition situation, the textile enterprises in China have increased slightly in the annual fashion and the finalists. The fabric competition is expected to see more textile works.

  


In order to better promote the seamless connection between creativity and industry, the 2011 China International fabric design competition will be divided into two groups: fabric design competition and pattern design competition.

The two sub competitions emphasize the originality of the work. The fabric design competition mainly focuses on the textile and garment enterprises, focusing on the productivity and market value of the works; while the pattern design competition mainly focuses on the designers, professional institutions and other personal designers, and pays more attention to the perception and expression of creativity.

Outstanding works, which stand out in the two sub competitions, will be made by famous designers as ready-made garments and displayed to the industry in the form of dynamic shows, so as to better realize the value complementarity between fabric design and terminal market.

  


Unprecedented promotion after competition

  


2011 China International fabric design competition has put the post competition promotion into a top position for the first time. It will not only further integrate the resources of the industry, take advantage of the strong trade promotion platform, actively promote the docking of the design work with the downstream procurement links, so that more buyers can understand and purchase excellent domestic fabrics, and will also strive to create the brand image of both the creative and marketable textile fabrics.

The award-winning works will be displayed in the "Intertextile China International Textile and Accessories Expo" and "Texworld France Paris fabric exhibition" and so on.

  


Our county has been hosting this competition for 3 consecutive years. On the one hand, it aims to create an international highly creative development base for China's textile industry, and to create the industry status of Keqiao's "textile fashion publishing center". On the other hand, it will promote Keqiao textile enterprises to improve their relatively weak R & D capability and marketing mechanism through the industrialized operation of the design works, so as to enhance Keqiao's fashion discourse and creative culture connotation.

In the future, commercialization of the work will become a focus in this competition. It will create more fabric champion for the outstanding works, through garment conversion and cooperation with famous department stores in China.
