The people's Bank of China authorized the China foreign exchange trading center to announce that in January 4, 2011, the interbank exchange market dollar and other currencies exchanged the middle price of RMB against the RMB exchange rate for 1 US dollars to 6.6215 yuan, 1 euros to 8.8301 yuan, 100 yen to RMB 8.0977 yuan, 1 Hong Kong dollar to the people's currency 0.85213 yuan, 1 pounds to RMB 10.2527 yuan, RMB 1 yuan to the ringgit, and RMB to RMB rouble.


On the previous day, the central parity rate of RMB against the US dollar was 6.6227.


The recent market demand for US Treasury bonds and the decline in US bond yields have dragged the US dollar down.

Against this background, the central parity of the RMB against the US dollar continues to rise at the end of the new year's first trading day.
