origin

:

These names were all imported products. These titles were first originated in the United States. After the industrialization of the western countries, there was a more obvious division of labor. At that time, American economist Robert Nike divided the modern labor force into three types in the book "the role of the state": the labor force engaged in mass production, the labor force in the personal service industry, and the labor force to solve the problem.

The labour force who worked on the problem came to wear a dark suit, white shirt and tie when they went to work, thus forming the title of "White-Collar".

Some workers who are responsible for the maintenance of electrical appliances and machinery, and large scale production workers, are called "blue collar" (Blue-Collar) because they wear dirty blue uniforms everyday.

Later, with the development of society, Golden-Collar, Pink-Collar and Gray-Collar were introduced.

These titles correspond to professional workers:

Golden-Collar - Golden Collar: a senior person who has a good educational background and has some achievements in a particular industry, such as senior management at CXO level.

Golden collar is a new group accompanying the Internet age.

The term "golden collar" is recognized by the society in terms of the knowledge structure, public relations ability, coordination ability, management and operation ability, and social relations resources of these people.

Generally speaking, golden collar is not only the top technical expert, but also has the right to decide the fate of white-collar workers.

Their age is usually over 30 years old. Many people get their degrees from abroad. They earn their respect and recognition by virtue of their profound professional knowledge, excellent qualities of career women and their perception of life.

The golden collar is a down-to-earth doer who is good at solving problems independently, adventurous and challenging the future, eager for a bigger development space, and yearning for a career area of his own.

White-Collar - white collar: generally refers to those who have educational background and work experience. They usually engage in mental work and require formal clothes such as Western-style clothes when working.

Blue-Collar - blue collar: generally refers to people with certain skills.

China's blue collar job opportunities are not just "ordinary blue collar jobs" on the assembly line, but also many high technology and high income "blue collar jobs".

Pink-Collar -- pink collar: pink collar was originally described as a professional woman aged 20~35 years old. Later, the pink collar also evolved into a freelance worker who works at home.

They can sleep late and not have to be too particular at lunch.

Home is their habitat and their workplace. They communicate with the outside world by computers, telephones and facsimile. They know little about the many tense people in the white-collar working environment.

Gray-Collar - Grey collar: refers to the staff who have strong theoretical knowledge and strong hands-on ability.

To put it simply, it is a person who can use both brains and hands.

For example, engaged in service industry, responsible for maintenance workers.

Green-Collar - Green Collar refers to those engaged in environmental hygiene, environmental protection, agricultural research, afforestation and other industries, as well as those who like to make outdoor and mountain dreams.

Iron-Collar - iron collar: a robot that works for others.

Open-Collar - open collar: This is a new trend, referring to people who can dress casually and work at home by using computers, that is, the "SOHO family".
